• p.8, γίνομαιには「（人物が）現れる」という意味がない云々とありますが、 ギリシャ語辞典BauerのII(5)（人が）現れる"appear"の意味があると説明され、 用例が掲載されています。Thayer's Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament(1889): to arise,appear in history,come upon the stage:of men appearing in public,MK1.4;Jn.1.6
• p.113.ἐμβρῑμ-άομαι 「怒りの意味を含むかどうか については議論のあるところ・・・（バウアーの辞書は含むとし）」。 バウアーがこの言葉が「怒りの表現」の例として挙げているのはLucian,Neyomantなどの文献の用例で、 マルコ1:43については"warn sternly"としている。

• 田川「マルコ福音書」上巻 p.330「マルコの場合も多少ギリシャ語が下手で（「成長する」 に ἀναβαίνειν は普通用いない）・・・」と評しているが、 ギリシャ語辞典LSJは次ぎのように説明：

  5. of plants, shoot up, “ἐπὶ δένδρα” X.Oec.19.18; climb on sticks, Thphr.HP8.3.2; generally, shoot, spring up, Ev.Matt.13.7; of hair, X.Smp.4.23

A reader sympatheic to Mark,not boggling at this or that detail,would find the Gospel quick-paced and dramatic.So, undoubtedly,did the usual Christian in the last quater of the first century find it.Mark is short enough to read at one sitting.The reader,in identifying himself with Jesus,goes through exciting and triumphant incidents. When he has read through the Gospel,he has experienced a great emotional release.The Gospel of Mark is designed for such reading.It is almost impossible for the modern man to read it in that way.
